Who's the Golden Goose? This piece celebrates the merry queen with a bit of irreverent humor. Dripping in pearls, adorned with an everyday object serving as a fashionable out on the town or off to the races we go look (gourd anyone?) Bejeweled and begging the question, who is the Golden Goose?
In many of my works I build molds from everyday objects, in this case a gourd that resembled a goose, it adds a bit of flair to a staid figure. Constructed from multiple molds hand and rotationally cast, assembled into a final work and signed with the CP KATE logo. A small peace sign is incorporated into each work as it's a symbol that resonates.
