CP KATE - Apollo - #meninpearls
Much of my work is inspired by music and pop culture, this piece in particular was inspired by music and fashion, think Bowie, Prince, Bruno and Harry all pushing boundaries and opening doors with their creativity. #meninpearls is my reflection of their efforts. All of my work is handcrafted by me in my home-based studio in Portland, Oregon. I build the individual molds and then cast each piece before assembling into a final work. Each piece is signed with the CP KATE logo, I also incorporate a small peace sign as it is a symbol that resonates.
