This series is about making classical statuary more approachable by injecting a bit of humor or playfulness through the use of everyday objects. The approach is not subtle however the impetus behind the piece, maybe. Incorporating everyday objects adds interest and a bit of unexpectedness; Apollo sitting a atop a makeshift lego listening to music.

Each piece is made from multiple molds hand cast individually then assembled into a final work and signed with the CP KATE logo.
